1. Corporate and Special Projects

a. Transportation and Maritime Law.

-The Firm provides legal services for Philippine and international clients’ engaged in the maritime industry, including shipping companies, charterers, P&I club, training centers, and educational institutions.


-It also extends services to seafarer concerns for shipping companies to meet the needs and challenges of the maritime industry. It is at the forefront of maritime law development, having lawyers involved in policy formulation and regulation in the Philippines.


b. General Corporate Services.

-The Firm provides legal advice and procedural services for incorporation and documentation requirements of companies. It also holds directorship and secretaryship positions for various corporate clients which entailed attendance at board and stockholders’ meetings, counseling during said meetings, preparation and keeping of minutes, resolutions, secretaries’ certifications and stock and transfer books, issuance of stock certificates and recording of stock transfer transactions.


-It advises and assists clients in securing special license/accreditation from pertinent government agencies.


-It also provides retainer arrangement with corporate clients which include the following services:


(i) Routine consultations, advice and opinions on various fields of law required in the ordinary course of business of the Corporation, but excluding those requiring extensive study and research;


(ii) Drafting and review of the Corporation’s routine and ordinary agreements and other documents in the course of the Corporation’s business, but excluding those requiring extensive negotiations or documentation;


(iii) Human Resources and Labor housekeeping - The Firm ensures that the Corporation is able to meet the statutory requirements on terms and standards of employment. This service area includes assistance in the drafting/review and enforcement of the Corporation Employee Codes of Conduct;


(iv) Intra-corporate labor dispute - Our Firm assists the Corporation’s Human Resources Department in the discipline and punishment of erring employees; and


(v) Our lawyers chair the Corporation’s investigation committee for purposes of employee investigation, discipline and termination.


c. Foreign Investment.

-The Firm’s investment services include setting up offshore companies, documentation, registration, incorporation and capitalization of representative and branch offices.

2. Litigation

a. Corporate, Civil and Criminal Litigation.

-The firm has represented various clients from various industries in corporate, criminal, and civil litigation with an excellent success rate. Our team is composed of trial lawyers whose techniques are skilfully demonstrated and enhanced before trial and appellate courts, as well as administrative tribunals and bodies.


b.Labor and Employment.

-The Firm has vast experience in Labor and Employment. In particular, the Firm has extensive experience in labor and employment law compliance, occupational health and safety issues, union relations and collective bargaining. The Firm also assists clients on matters involving overseas employment. The Firm guides clients in formulating guidelines for its employees including the drafting of handbooks and employment contracts.
