HERSCHEL F. MAGRACIA

MANAGING PARTNER

HERSCHEL F. MAGRACIA is the Managing Partner of the Firm and handles complex shipping projects, including litigation and defending management’s interests in labor cases.

Mr. Magracia started his career at Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz Law Offices (ACCRALAW) and has served as Director of the Enforcement Service of the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) and as Chief Legal of its STCW Office.

Mr. Magracia obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Santo Tomas in 2007, where he graduated cum laude and finished as the Valedictorian of his class. He was a Rector’s Awardee for Academic Excellence. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Central Philippine University in Iloilo City in 2002, where he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Magracia was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2008.

Mr. Magracia has attended the Education for Professional Excellence in Maritime Administration Program at the World Maritime University in Malmo, Sweden.

Mr. Magracia is a member of the Quezon City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
